What are the benefits of the full system?
We are eliminating a bottleneck by adding two lanes on I-15 to from Lehi Main Street to S.R. 92. The additional two lanes on I-15 will increase highway capacity and keep Utah moving.
We are replacing a significant amount of aging infrastructure with new pavement on I-15 designed to last another 40 years and bridges designed to last 75 years.
We are improving local traffic flow for businesses and residents with the one-way frontage roads system from 2100 North to S.R. 92, a new bridge over I-15 at Triumph Boulevard and new, redesigned interchanges at S.R. 92 and 2100 North.
New active transportation features will be complete in fall 2020, including grade separated bike and pedestrian paths, providing key connections to local and regional trails. UDOT has also coordinated with UTA to add a new connector route from the FrontRunner station in Lehi to businesses on both sides of I-15.
